CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A school staff member in Charlotte was suspended from her job with pay on Monday over an alleged incident involving a student.

Officials told WSOC-TV she works for an after-school program at John Motley Morehead Academy.

The seventh-grade student’s mother did not want to be identified. She said she found out what was going on because she kept her 12-year-old son’s cellphone on Friday when he went to school, as punishment.

While she had the phone, she received a text message meant for him.

“During school hours a text was coming through, and it so happened to be from what i found out to be this person,” she said.

Her son is not involved in any after-school programs, and she’s not sure how he met the woman. She said the text messages asked her son if he was a virgin, used expletives about sex, and one even had pictures of sexual acts.

“I was honestly going to go to the school on Friday, and my intentions were to find out who she was, and beat her up,” she said.

She did go to the school, and the school contacted CMS police, who are now investigating.

The boy’s mother said she later learned that there was inappropriate communication with her son going back to last year, but he didn’t tell her about it.

“He said he felt uncomfortable, so he erased her number,” she said.

Lol I was going to go to the school and beat her up. Well at least she is setting a good example.

Typical low culture….planning on beating up a person! That would have never happened because the mother would have been restrained so fast! I can tell she is ignorant and doesn’t have much education!
