QUINCY, Ill. — What do you want to do before you die?
In Illinois, folks are now able to write the answer in chalk on a wall that was unveiled Wednesday.
Officials with the Blessing Hospice and Palliative Care posed the question as they presented the new wall in downtown Quincy.
They say the “Before I Die Wall” goes along well with the mission statement of their unit.
“Hospice is really all about living,” Executive Director Geri Conboy said. “It’s about helping people decide what kind of quality of life they want to have during whatever remaining days they have left, so this is just an extension of that to help people begin to think about life’s importance.”
Officials encourage anyone to go down to the wall and write on it with the chalk provided.
