Victim robbed at gunpoint after giving strangers ride in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A person was robbed at gunpoint after giving a ride to a man and woman in Greensboro early Wednesday morning.

The victim was approached by a man and a woman around 12:10 a.m. on Spring Garden Street and asked for a ride.

Once in the vehicle, the suspects pointed a gun and demanded they be driven to Chapman Street, then to Sherwood Street and to turn off the engine and lights.

The suspects demanded money from the victim and then fled on foot towards Campus Crossing Apartments.
