GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are looking for a suspect after employees at a jewelry store in Greensboro thwarted a robbery in progress Wednesday.

The attempted robbery took place at the Fink’s Jewelry Store at 1951 Battleground Ave.

Store employees told police that two men dressed in dark clothing and wearing sunglasses and full face masks attempted to enter the store, but they refused to activate the electronic lock release on the door.

The suspects then got into a black car and left, heading southbound on Battleground Avenue.

The door lock was installed after the business was robbed on April 13, 2013.

“…wearing sunglasses and full face masks attempted to enter the store, but they refused to activate the electronic lock release on the door.”

Did these two really think they would be buzzed in? Did they not think that the full face masks and sunglasses would be a giveaway? Talk about stupid.
