RALEIGH, N.C. — A black bear was found dead early Tuesday on campus at North Carolina State University.
A groundskeeper found the bear around 8 a.m. outside Bostian Hall.
North Carolina Wildlife Resources responded to campus and removed the bear from a bench around 9:15 a.m. Tuesday.
Authorities believe the 200-pound bear was killed elsewhere and moved to campus.
Photos of the bear were posted on social media early Tuesday.
No other information was provided.
