Suspects sought in hotel robbery in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Police are looking for three men accused of robbing a Holiday Inn Express hotel at gunpoint early Saturday morning in Winston-Salem.

Police said the suspect entered the business at 110 Miller St. around 1 a.m., demanding money. One of the suspects allegedly hit a clerk with his firearm. Police said the injuries were not serious.

Police said the suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash from the hotel and personal property from the clerk. They then fled the scene on foot, according to police.

The suspects are described as three black men between the ages of 20 and 30. Police said one wore a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes, another wore a red baseball hat, black T-shirt and had dreadlocks and the third wore a gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants and white shoes.
