GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — Crews at the Piedmont Environmental Center and Hagan-Stone Park are still working to clear ice storm debris from park trails.
Officials at the Piedmont Environmental Center in High Point say as many as 18 trees are still down blocking hiking trails.
Director Dick Thomas says City of High Point crews will be taking a more aggressive approach to cleaning the park starting Monday.
Hagan-Stone Park has reopened and most trees have been moved off trails. However, maintenance officials say it could take another month to pick up all the trees and tree limbs.
