WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Winston-Salem police are looking for a man they say robbed a convenience store at gunpoint early Tuesday  morning.

A clerk who works at Adams Market on Northampton Drive said a unknown man came into the store, pointed a shotgun at her and demanded money.

After she gave the man an undisclosed amount of money, he fled the store and got into a black vehicle, possibly a Mitsubishi Eclipse or Ford Mustang.

The suspect drove off towards Walkertown.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing a dark colored hoodie with an unknown blue design on the chest and a red shirt underneath.

The suspect was believed to be in his late 20s to early 30s and about 160-180 pounds with dark hair, mustache and a scruffy face.
