24k pounds of chicken tenders, chunks recalled

WASHINGTON – A Georgia company is recalling around 24,000 pounds of fully cooked breaded chicken breast products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Prime Pak Foods is recalling the products, which were formulated with egg and wheat, known allergens, which are not declared on the product label.

The products recalled are Sugar Lake Farms cooked breaded chicken breast tenders and spicy breaded chicken breast chunks.

The products were produced from Dec. 12, 2012 to March 21, 2014 and were distributed nationwide.

2, 5-lb. bags in a 10-lb. box of “Sugar Lake Farms Fully Cooked Breaded Chicken Breast Tenders” with the product code 77422 printed on the box.

2, 5-lb. bags in a 10-lb. box of “Sugar Lake Farms Fully Cooked Spicy Breaded Chicken Breast Chunks” with the product code 77448 printed on the box.
