US Airways employee found noose attached to locker at work

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A US Airways employee at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport says he found a noose attached to his locker at work.

According to a report filed with police, Michael Aziz-Muhammad, said he found a “teal colored cord tied into a hangman’s noose” attached to his locker at work.

An FBI spokesperson told WSOC they have been contacted about the case, but wouldn’t say whether the agency is investigating.

US Airways says it is looking into the case and cooperating with the investigation.

WSOC reported that the airline wouldn’t say whether it is looking at this as a hate crime or if anyone had been placed on leave.
