Jabari Parker is moving on to the NBA after one season at Duke, according to Sports Illustrated.
Parker is expected to be a top-three pick in NBA draft in June. He averaged 19.1 points and 8.7 rebounds en route to earning first team All-American honors.
Parker is a 6-foot-8 forward from Chicago and was the best freshman in the country this past season. He averaged 19.1 points and 8.7 rebounds, helping lead Duke to a 26-9 record.
“Ultimately, I boiled my decision down to two simple questions,” he wrote in Sports Illustrated.
“Which environment — college or the NBA — offers me the best opportunity to grow as a basketball player?
Which environment — college or the NBA — offers me the best opportunity to grow and develop off the court?
The answer to both questions is undeniably the NBA.”

who cares….Duke is getting the top incoming college prospect, so I am sure Jabari fears some less hype next year with a new up and comer to take his spotlight….Jabari is good, but obviously is not NBA material when he cant even lead his team to a conference title or March madness worth noting (Mercer Anybody). Parker will go high in the draft and end up being a JJ Reddick and turn out to be a scrub on a bench and gain numbers while playing the final few mins of a game.
