Lexington Police search for woman who used stolen bank card
LEXINGTON, N.C. — Police are searching for a woman who used a stolen bank card and personal ID card to withdraw money from a bank in Salisbury.
On March 31, Lexington Police responded to a breaking, entering, and larceny from a motor vehicle at 1000 Cotton Grove Road in Lexington.
Police said the victim’s pocket book, bank card and personal ID was stolen from the vehicle. The bank card and personal ID was then used to withdraw an undisclosed amount of cash from the State Employees’ Credit Union located at 1030 Mooresville Road in Salisbury.
The suspect used the victim’s identification card and her bank card to pose as the victim and withdraw money from the account. A white female was shown in the surveillance photos driving a gold Dodge minivan in the drive through teller lane making a withdrawal of cash using the victim’s bank card.
The suspect did not use the ATM.
