2 Raeford men arrested after teen’s body found at Fort Bragg
RAEFORD, N.C. (WTVD) — Two Raeford men face charges in connection with the death of a teen whose body was found on Fort Bragg.
Joel Thornton, 23, and Jaquan Peterson, 19, were arrested Saturday, according to WTVD.
Both face charges of first-degree kidnapping, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and felony conspiracy. They are also charged with assault with a deadly weapon, and larceny of a motor vehicle.
Deputies say the two suspects lured Tayvon McMillan, 18, to the Somerset subdivision in Raeford earlier this month where he was attacked by several people before being taken to Fort Bragg where he was killed.
The teenager’s body was discovered last weekend off Plank Road after a family member reported him missing.
