LabCorp to move 975 employees to McLeansville

BURLINGTON, N.C. — LabCorp will move 975 of its employees from five buildings in downtown Burlington to the former Citi Cards building in McLeansville, according to the Times-News of Burlington.

According to the report, the employees will be moving out of their current officers beginning early next year.

The five building being vacated with cost $35 million for improvements.

The Times-News reports that the Citi Cards building allows the company to consolidate most of its billing operations in a modern facility.

LabCorp plans to invest $12 million in the other Burlington buildings it occupies over the next five years.

    Most former employees at Citi knew this was coming…no problem with it…just that some of the management flunkies kept saying it wasn’t true. hahahahahahahahaha

    This is is a confusing article and there are typos that make it hard to read.

    Are they moving their officers? or out of their offices?

    “The five building being vacated with cost $35 million for improvements”… so will it cost $35 million to vacate the building, or are they vacating the buildings to do $35 million for improvements? Are they moving back after they do the improvements?
