GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man was assaulted and held at gunpoint during an attempted robbery at his Greensbooro home Thursday night.

Police say the man was contacted by a woman who wanted to come over and get water for her overheated vehicle.

The 45-year-old victim said she arrived at the house on Ogden Street with another woman and distracted him by leading him into the bedroom.

When he returned to the main room, he was confronted with three men who pointed a gun at him and demanded money.

One man punched the victim in the face.

The victim ran to the back bedroom and the suspects fled the home in a older model white Sedan.

No property was stolen and the victim did not need medical attention.

“The 45-year-old victim said she arrived at the house on Ogden Street with another woman and distracted him by leading him into the bedroom.”

The victim was a man. It was the perpetrators who arrived at the man’s house on Ogden Street.

If you can’t regurgitate press releases accurately, you’d be better of just pasting them in their entirety and quite pretending these reports are written by “web staff.”
