Man preserves local history through artwork

Last week, the historic old Cedar Falls Post Office was badly damaged by a fire.

The building is an important part of Randolph County history. That’s why one of Roy’s Folks has been working to preserve it and other old cotton mill villages by capturing them in his art.

Artist Henry Bowers is always on the lookout for a subject.
