NC State’s TJ Warren declares for NBA Draft

ACC NC State

T.J. Warren, the 2014 ACC player of the year as a sophomore and one of college basketball’s top scorers, has announced he will enter the NBA Draft, N.C. State said in a release Tuesday.

“I would like to thank my coaches and teammates at N.C. State for allowing me to compete for this great university,” the release quoted Warren as saying. “It’s been a fun ride the last few years. I’ve had some great experiences and now I feel I’m ready to play at the next level. Playing in the NBA has been a lifelong dream of mine and playing at N.C. State has prepared me well to achieve my dream.”

Warren was third in the nation and led the ACC in scoring with 24.9 points per game.

He set school records for points in a single season (871) and games with 20+ points in a season (31).

dude is a baller in college, but he wont be so good in the NBA….his free throw % stinks and he cant shoot from three point range in college, how is he thinking he can go back even further and make it more? Bad choice by him on this because he needs to stay another year to gain some more ability to take his game outside the paint because he wont last a season in the NBA trying to play inside at the small forward position.
