Dr. Brooks received his Bachelor of Science in neuroscience from the University of Rochester, and received his Doctor of Medicine from Cornell University Medical College.

He completed his surgical internship and orthopaedic residency at the University of Rochester and his spine fellowship at the State University of New York at Syracuse University.

    Another way to stop back pain is to try to relieve stress. Lying down on the bed for a few minutes can help relieve stress, relax muscles, and get rid of spinal pain.
