What exactly did he do other than being black and carrying a knife as far as I know neither are illegal.

Probably because it’s not normal to be armed with a knife for everyone to see near or on a school campus. They took him in for questioning to find out what’s going on.I’m glad they found him.Better to be safe than sorry.

Just because it’s not normal doesn’t mean that anything is wrong people carry guns openly and that’s not considered normal but it’s also not illegal. I mean if he done something like the other guy said he did then sure find out what’s going if not then there is absolutely no reason for them to make contact with him.

Man attempted to cut a business owner on Tate Street. Blake, 140 character limitation doesn’t allow for a complete description of the crime.

Because I am the police chief at UNCG. I’ve provided the information to FOX8, including charges. I’m sure they will update it later.

its not normal to walk around with knife? people use them all the time – they are tools.

why have we gotten to the point where its abnormal or scary for someone to walk around with a knife? if you have a gun rack in your truck – then you must be a serial killer.

I carried a pocket knife everyday at UNCG. I was lurking in the shadows widdling sticks and opening plastic packaging.

I used to work at the jail downtown. Ole Frank was a regular during my almost 5 years of working there. He is not an evil person but does suffer from mental health problems and can be dangerous.
