After a few overnight showers, we expect a more significant system to move in on Saturday. This will bring a chance for more showers and possibly a few thunderstorms.
There is concern for severe thunderstorms over the eastern half of the state. We are close to the outlook area and should also be prepared for the potential.
The main threat will be strong winds. An isolated tornado is also possible.
Once this front slides through tomorrow evening our chance for thunderstorms and showers will diminish. Still a few showers could linger into the night and early Sunday morning.
Our mountains will see rain turn to snow tomorrow evening and a few inches of snow are possible over the highest elevations and west-facing slopes.
Most areas will see a dusting to less than 1 inch in the hills.
Sunday afternoon we should clear out and we expect sunny weather to be with us through at least Wednesday.
