HIGH POINT, N.C. -- We can all hum the tune -- maybe even sing most of the lyrics.

But do we know who created our favorite music? If you're a fan of rock and roll, maybe. But what about all those TV show tunes that we've loved, over the years?

In the case of the musical, "Bye, Bye Birdie," which became a high school drama class staple for a generation, and the in the case of, "Annie," -- you know, "The sun'll come up, tomorrow!" -- maybe not.

The man behind that music was in the Triad recently, sharing his wisdom with students at High Point University. You’ll get to meet him in this edition of The Buckley Report and find out why he almost never wrote "Annie," the show that made him a fortune.
