NEW YORK — The ACC Tournament will be held in Brooklyn in 2017 and 2018, USA TODAY is reporting.

“The deal is done,” the report suggests. USA TODAY cites a person with direct knowledge of the agreement expected to be announced on Wednesday.

The tournament will be held in Greensboro in 2015 and in Washington in 2016.

So…Swofford thinks it’s a great strategy to play second fiddle to the Big East. Interesting. While the BE is at Madison Square Garden, the ACC will be in Brooklyn on Flatbush Ave. Shrewd move. :/

Why move the tournament to a place with cold and wet weather this time of year. I would move the tournament to a place where the risk of snow fall is not as great and the ticket price is as affordable for a one year graduate as a fifty year graduate. Keep the travel risk low on better weather cities. ACC head quarters is Greensboro not NYC why go to a new place where the greensboro coliseum has everything that is needed for a tournament.
