SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. — A 4-year-old boy is just one of the many rescued recently after a massive landslide in Washington last Saturday.
Rescuers in Snohomish County are still searching for the nearly 200 people unaccounted after the disaster.
A photo was taken of a rescuer holding a small boy just moments after they saved the life of a child, according to KSDK. They’d spotted him nearly drowning in the mud.
It was reported that the child’s three siblings and father are among the victims still missing.
The child was taken to the hospital and reunited with his mother.
Rescuers say this gives them hope to carry on.
