CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Three people, including two children, have been hospitalized after being pulled from a creek in southwest Charlotte, according to WBTV.
Authorities were called to Griffith Street just after 8 p.m. Family members said three people, two of which children ages seven and 11, went into Davis Creek.
Witnesses told WBTV the children had to be rescued from the creek.
Medics performed CPR on the children and they were transported to Carolinas Medical Center with serious injuries.
Medic also told WBTV a third person was taken to the hospital from the scene. That person, officials said, had serious injuries not related to the near-drowning.
