Several people bound, robbed at gunpoint in Winston-Salem home invasion
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Several people were found bound at a home in Winston-Salem during an armed robbery Monday night.
Police responded to the home on Dew Avenue around 8:22 p.m.
A 28-year-old woman, who lived nearby, said she was in the garage when someone knocked on the garage door.
When she opened the door, a man dressed in camouflage and mask, pointed a gun at her and forced his way inside the home.
Once inside, the suspect bound the hands of the woman and two other adults, who lived at the home, while an armed robbery occurred.
Four children were also at the home during the invasion.
No one was injured in the incident.
The suspect is described as a man with heavy muscular build, wearing a green/brown camouflage mask, hooded jacket, gray pants and dark gloves.
