The Winter Weather Advisory continues for the Piedmont until noon today.

Ice and sleet totals have been between 0.1 inch and 0.25 inch.

Temperatures will be above freezing by this afternoon, and should stay above freezing into the overnight hours in the Triad.

The exception will be counties to the north and west, where temperatures will be near 32 degrees, which includes communities along the Blue Ridge.

Bridges and overpasses will be the biggest challenge to morning commuters.

Temperatures are starting between 28 degrees and 31 degrees and multiple accidents have occurred across the Piedmont.

Avoid driving this morning and check on all the latest closings and delays here:

Wednesday will be mostly cloudy and a little warmer with highs back to the lower 50s. Thursday and Friday look really nice with sunshine and highs back in the 60s.
