Two injured in early morning Greensboro crash

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police said two people were injured after a driver lost control and crashed his vehicle early Sunday morning.

Police said the driver was headed south on Highway 29 and crashed after losing control while crossing Lee Street.

Police said the victim and his passenger were taken to Moses Cone Hospital and are being treated for injuries.

The investigation is ongoing. Police have not released the extent of the victims’ injuries or whether speed or alcohol is suspected to be factors.
