Man accused of raping child in Winston-Salem identified, charged
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A man accused of raping a child in Winston-Salem has been identified and charged.
Luis Enrique Marin Noyola, 20, of Walkertown Avenue, Winston-Salem, is charged with first degree burglary, first degree rape, first degree sex offense and indecent liberties with a child.
Police said the suspect entered an apartment on Bruce Street on Sunday, “committed the act” and fled the area. He was arrested Tuesday.
The child was originally reported to be 5-years-old, but police have learned that the victim is actually three.
Police have not released a photo of the suspect. He was placed in jail under an $800,000 bond and has court planned for March 27.
The investigation is ongoing.
