Crews work to clean up the water damage at Allen Middle School

GREENSBORO, N.C. — As of Monday morning power was restored to all Guilford County Schools, but now crews are tackling their next problem — water damage.

There have been reports of extensive water damage in seven Allen Middle School classrooms.

The damage include flooding and deteriorating ceiling tiles.

Crews are working all day Monday to repair the damages.

The make-up day will be Thursday, April 17, according to Guilford County Schools Director of Communications Cynthia Robbins Shah-Khan.
