Missing Cabarrus Co. teen hasn’t been seen in three months

CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. — Investigators are searching for a Cabarrus County teenager who they say has been missing for more than three months.

According to the Cabarrus Area Crime Stoppers, 15-year-old Arissa Burris has been missing since early December.

Investigators told WBTV she was last seen at the Department of Social Services building on Dec. 11.

It was reported the teen was in the care of DSS when she ran away.

    She has been missing since December? It is March and we are just now hearing of this?!? I pray for her safety and a safe return home.

    Arissa is one of my former students. Arissa, I pray for your safety and that you will give the authorities your whereabouts. You were a great student and I would like to think you haven’t changed on the inside!
