HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. – A group of North Carolina high school students have prepared 10,000 meals.
The group in Hendersonville worked with an organization called “Stop Hunger Now.”
They put together the meals with protein and dehydrated vegetables packed in reusable bags.
The kids said they never thought helping people would be so simple.
Project organizer T.J. Freeman said it took everyone about two hours to put the 10,000 meals together.
