PACOIMA, Calif. – A man is suing McDonald’s for $1.5 million because he said he only received one napkin with his meal.

TMZ reported that Webster Lucas claims he ordered a Quarter Pounder Deluxe at a McDonald’s in Pacoima, Calif. on Jan. 29th.

Lucas said he immediately noticed he only got one napkin came with his meal.

He said he asked for more napkins and the manager said no, insisting he’d already gotten some.

Lucas then emailed the general manager. McDonald’s reportedly offered him some free food in an effort to make him happy, but the gesture did not satisfy him.

Lucas said he is now unable to work, because of the “undue mental anguish” he suffered as a result of incident.

this is just sad that one is even able to file a lawsuit based on these grounds “undue mental trauma” only in california, give me a fucking break and if this goes to court and he wins it will just be more proof that america’s public is fucked

This guy needs a mental hospital in the worse way. I got about ten napkins the other day so maybe I need to sue for mental anguish as I kind of feel they were saying I was a slob. LOL

This is deliberately misleading reporting. It’s a horrible write-up, to the point where the writer should be fired for omitting the most important facts, on purpose.

This is a racial discrimination case, not a case over a missing napkin.

“According to his lawsuit, Lucas — who is black — then retorted, “I should have went to eat at the Jack-in-the-Box because I didn’t come here to argue over napkins. I came here to eat.”

That’s when Lucas says things got racist — claiming the manager (a Mexican-American) mumbled something about “you people.”

I’m not a fan of racial discrimination cases in which plaintiffs claim grievous wounds over phrases like “you people,” but that’s a problem with the law itself. Fox, fire this writer.

Is he kidding? I’m lucky if I get one napkin. So I just help myself at the service station. That is what it is for.
