Thomasville man leads police on chase, pursuit ends in car crash

DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — A Thomasville man was arrested after he led police on a high-speed chase Wednesday morning which ended in a wreck.

Officers say they attempted to stop a  passenger car on N.C. 109 and Aztec Drive for a traffic violation.

The driver, later identified as 38-year-old Tommie Lee Tucker Jr., fled from officers in the vehicle and led them on a chase through Thomasville and Lexington.

Police from both Thomasville and Lexington and attempted to deploy the vehicle with stop sticks, but Tucker was able to avoid them.

The pursuit ended when Tucker lost control of his vehicle at the top of the ramp of Highway 150 and I-85 and struck a Davidson County vehicle causing minor damage.

Tucker was charged with felony speed to elude, fictitious tag, driving while licensed is revoked, no insurance, inspection violation, reckless driving to endanger, seven traffic violations and two orders for arrest.

Tucker was placed in jail under a $10,050.

    North Carolina’s Judicial System is the Laughing Stock of the entire Nation, hell, this person is probably already Out on Bond & will do it or something else illegal again, lol, lol……I bet if this episode had happened in Virginia, he would be lucky to see the light of day in 5 or 10 years & rightly so….
