Give your pizza some pizzazz

On this Recipe Wednesday, we're adding some pizzazz to your pizza.

FOX8's Shannon Smith stopped by Southern Roots in Jamestown to make some gourmet pizza.

For all pizzas use 10 inch thin crust purchased at grocery store, along with a jar of pizza sauce or pesto sauce depending on the pizza.

1/4 cup of pasta sauce
1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup of feta cheese
1/4c. olives
1/4 c. artichoke hearts
1/4 c. roasted roma tomatoes
1/4 c. banana peppers
1/4 c. spinach

Bake 400 for 12-15 min.

1/4 c. pesto
1/2 c. mozzarella cheese
1/4 c. grilled onions
1/4 c. mushrooms
1/4 c. grilled chicken, shredded

Bake 400 for 12-15 min .

1/4 c.sauce
1/2 c. mozzarella cheese
1/4 c. pepperoni
1/4 c. pineapple
1/4 c. jalepenos
1/4 c. green peppers
1/4 c. onions
1/4 c. banana peppers

Bake 400 for 12-15 min.

1/4 C. sauce
1/2 c. mozzarella
1/4 c. roasted roma tomatoes
1/4 c. grilled onions
Plus chopped meatloaf

Bake 400 for 12-15 min.


1/4 c. pasta sauce
1/4 c. feta cheese
1/2 c. mozzarella cheese

bake 400 degrees for 12-15 min

add a handful of organic greens, 1/4 c. shaved onion, and 1/2 cup shaved parmesan on top after pizza is cooked

also add lemon dressing (1 1/2 c. olive oil, 1/2 c. lemon, 1 tsp. honey, 1 tablespoon grainy mustard)
