CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. — A pastor in Catawba County is accused of beating a man with a cane in a fit of road rage.

Police said Pastor Roger Lee used his cane to strike another driver at the Hardee’s drive-thru.

The road rage began when Lee became irate after being passed on Highway 127 after coming to an abrupt stop.

Alexis Zimmerman, who was working in the drive-thru at the time of the incident, told WSOC she tried to stop the attack.

Both Lee and the other driver, Santos Ruiz — who went to the hospital after the attack — were charged with simple affray.

I guess he missed the part of Jesus’s teachings that says turn the other cheek and forgive.
Another, “do as I say and not as I do”, preacher.

The man wasn’t stabbed by the pastor, if he has a leg wound he did it to himself to get money.
So he had some road rage. The man who cut off the pastor was driving dangerously and could have hurt the pastor, is he so innocent?
If you are a true Christian, you do not judge someone for their actions, you forgive and surround them with love as Jesus truly wants. So do not judge the pastor..do not judge the driver, instead pray for peace in the situation, forgiveness and understanding for both parties. As for the “poor chumps” the pastor is leading, assuming they stand behind him and forgive and love him, then we will know he has truly led them down the path Jesus would want…and I guess they wouldn’t be “poor chumps”.
