We have one cooler day to get through, then dramatic improvement will sweep into the Piedmont.

Clouds will increase across our skies today as a cold front makes its way toward the Carolinas.

With steady easterly winds today, temperatures are going to be 10 degrees or more below normal by afternoon.

Despite clouds, precipitation will hold off until the overnight hours.

Expect very little measurable rain. Highs will be in the lower 40s and lows tonight will slip to around 33 degrees.

A substantial warm-up is on the way for Tuesday with highs soaring to the lower 60s.

Skies will be mostly sunny courtesy of a dry, west wind.

Delightful temperatures will continue to dominate the rest of the work week with a chance of thunderstorms entering the forecast by Friday.
