NC State rallies to beat Ga. Tech, 80-78

RALEIGH, N.C. — N.C. State rallied to beat Georgia Tech in an 80-78 win Sunday in Raleigh with TJ Warren leading the Wolfpack with 17 points.

WRAL reported that N.C. State overcame an 11-point second half deficit and pulled out the victory in overtime.

Ralston Turner also gave the Wolfpack 12 points and Tyler Lewis 10 points and three assists.

“We were down and things weren’t looking real good for us but our guys played with great courage,” said N.C. State coach Mark Gottfried, according to the Charlotte Observer. “They played really hard and competed.”
