Two Thomasville city officials in intensive care

THOMASVILLE, N.C. — A Thomasville fire chief and a city councilman are in intensive care Thursday.

According to the Thomasville Times, Thomasville fire chief Martin Dailey and City Councilman Scott Styers are in the intensive care units at Novant Health Thomasville Medical Center and Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center.

Dailey is recovering from a pair of surgeries to his abdomen.

Styers is suffering from double pneumonia and is on a ventilator after coming down with the flu earlier this month.
