School bus shot at in Stokes Co.

STOKES COUNTY, N.C. — A Stokes County school bus was shot at near King Thursday morning.

The call came in around 8:49 a.m. after a school bus was shot at on Walter Lane, east of King.

Deputies say there were students on the bus, but no one was injured.

The bus was taking students to Poplar Springs Elementary School.

The glass of a window shattered, but did not fall out.

Deputies say it appears someone may have shot at the bus with a pellet or BB gun.

Investigators are questioning suspects, but no one has been identified.

    The idiotic thing is you thinking that less guns and gun laws would have stopped this from happening. Look at places like Detroit with the toughest gun laws in the country. If laws really did something then we would not have a backed up court system nor would be have high crime rates quit living in a dream world open your eyes and take a good look around because you my friend have your head in the clouds.
