$1 million Mega Millions ticket sold in Greensboro

RALEIGH, N.C. — A lucky lottery player purchased a Mega Millions ticket in Greensboro worth $1 million on Tuesday night, according to North Carolina Lottery officials.

The lucky ticket was sold at the Spartan BP on South Aycock Street in Greensboro.

The ticket matched all five numbers for the white balls drawn, which were 4-23-26-62-69. The winner has 180 days to claim the prize.

This is the first $1 million win in North Carolina since the new Mega Millions game launched in October.
