SPOKANE, Wash. -- A minor fender bender in Washington State earlier this month shocked one of the drivers.
But it wasn’t the impact that surprised her. It was the Chihuahua driving the other car.
Tabitha Ormaechea told KREM-TV that she was stopped at a red light, when a car came out of nowhere and bumped into her tire.
She said she looked up and saw, "just a little dog up on the steering wheel peeking over, looking at me."
“I didn't know if I was crazy, or if this little dog had taken a joyride,” she said.
Jason Martinez had reportedly left his car and his Chihuahua, Toby, for just a few minutes to go into a store.
Martinez suggests his dog must have knocked the car out of gear and it began to roll.
The damage was minimal and no injuries were reported.
