Fort Bragg military honor guard hurt in crash outside Laurinburg

LAURINBURG, N.C. (WTVD) — Nine members of a Fort Bragg honor guard on their way to a Charlotte-area funeral were hurt Friday in a crash outside Laurinburg.

It happened on U.S. 15-501 at Old Wire Road.

Officials said a government vehicle collided with a log truck.

Five service members in the van were treated and released. Four others remained hospitalized Friday afternoon.
