CONCORD, N.C. — A Concord church handed out more than 700 toys to children who wouldn’t have had a Christmas during a special service Sunday morning.

WSOC-TV reported that Kingdom Purpose Ministries partnered with an area restaurant to collect the toys.

“This is a place today that we’re all coming together, celebrating something in common, which is love and giving,” said Rusty Price, senior pastor of Kingdom Purpose Ministries.
