The chefs at Lucky 32 in Greensbooro show FOX8′s Shannon Smith how to make a few drinks that will warm you up for the holiday season or ring in the new year.

2oz Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur
1oz Smirnoff vanilla vodka
2.5oz fresh apple cider
Honey syrup (1 Tbsp honey dissolved in 1 Tbsp warm water)
crushed ginger snaps finely crushed
place syrup in one saucer and gingersnaps in another.
Dip the rim of a rocks glass into the syrup then the ginger snaps, to apply ginger snaps to the rim of the glass
Fill glass with ice. Combine Canton, Smirnoff, and apple cider into shaker, shake and strain into glass
garnish with orange zest.
2oz Knob Creek Smoked Maple Bourbon
1oz Bailey’s Irish Cream Liqueur
.5oz Carriage House apple brandy
1 Tbsp salted caramel
splash lemon juice
splash of ginger ale
sliced apple with salted caramel sauce of garnish
combine first five ingredients shake and strain into a martini glass
top with ginger ale and garnish with apple slice
White Chocolate Cherry Martini
1oz Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur
.75oz Smirnoff vanilla vodka
.75oz Luxardo Maraschino
.5oz half and half
Combine all ingredients into shaker and strain into a chilled martini glass.
garnish brandied cherry
1.5oz Knob Creek Bourbon
.5oz vermouth di Torino
.75oz maple syrup
1 tsp cocoa powder
2 dashes of chocolate bitters
combine first four ingredients in shaker.
shake and strain into glass filled with ice. top with bitters, garnish with brandied cherry.
Pomegranate ginger champagne
.5 oz Pama pomegranate liqueur
.5 oz Domaine de Canton ginger liqueur
Pour liqueurs into champagne flute, top with champagne; stir lightly. Garnish with candied ginger.
3oz sparkling apple cider
.75oz Carriage House Apple Brandy
3 dashes of angostura bitters
In a champagne flute, add bitters to sugar cube, add brandy and top with champagne
Scotch hot toddy
1.5oz Laphroaig Scotch Whisky
.5oz honey syrup
1.5oz hot water
add all ingredients together and squeeze lemon.
Garnish:cinnamon stick and orange peel with cloves.
2 quarts apple cider
2 cinnamon sticks
2 whole star anise
2 whole cloves
1 orange thinly sliced
Place all ingredients in a large saucepan over medium heat or a large crock pot set on high for 30 min then set to low.
Combine 1.25 oz Southern Comfort with 4 oz hot Mulled Cider in a coffee glass and serve.
Peppermint Hot Chocolate
1 cup whole milk
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1.5 oz peppermint schnaaps
Put the milk, cocoa powder, and sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook, whisking constantly, until the cocoa powder is fully dissolved, about 5 minutes. Pour schnaaps into mug. Add hot chocolate; serve hot.
1/2 cup of eggnog
pinch of nutmeg
Add all ingredients and stir and pour into a martini glass.
Garnish with nutmeg
