Lottery tickets stolen from Caswell Co. convenience store

CASWELL COUNTY, N.C. — Deputies said they’re looking for two women accused of breaking into a Caswell County convenience store and stealing lottery tickets.

Deputies said the suspects were caught on surveillance video breaking into the Eighty-Six Convenient Mart at 7631 N.C. Hwy 86 North in Providence.

The suspects broke out the front door and removed five display cases of lottery tickets around 4:43 a.m. Thursday, according to deputies.

Deputies said a woman went to the Kangaroo Express on Hawkins Ave in Sanford later that morning and tried to cash a ticket from the stolen location.

Both suspects are described as woman in their late 20s to early 30s, about 5’7” to 5’10” and weighing between 175 to 200 pounds.
