Police investigating robbery from business in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police responded to a business in reference to a robbery Wednesday evening.

The Streetcars Car Wash on Stanley Road was reportedly robbed shortly after 6 p.m.

An employee told officers a man entered the business, produced a knife and demanded money. The suspect was able to obtain an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot. He was last seen running through the parking lot.

The suspect was described as a black male, 25 to 35 years old, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing 175 to 185 pounds.

An investigation is ongoing.

Police ask that anyone with information on the incident call Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000.

    There is no business in Greensboro that is safe. They will rob anyone they can at any time of day or night. Business owners need to arm themselves. Maybe this street scum will think twice if people start fighting back.
