Greensboro man robbed during sale of cell phone

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man said he was robbed while he was trying to sell his cell phone in Greensboro Tuesday night.

Officers responded to a gas station on South Holden Road around 7:53 p.m. where the 24-year-old victim said he had met the suspect to sell a cell phone.

The victim told police that the suspect took the iPhone 5 from him, along with a watch and $50 cash.

The suspect then fled the area and was last seen running east towards Vanstory Street.

The suspect was described as a black male, between 25 and 30 years of age, 5’9” tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds and was wearing a burgundy zip-up jacket and gray sweat pants.
