Two arrested for robbery, assault in Lexington

LEXINGTON, N.C. — Police arrested two men for common law robbery early Saturday.

Landis Justin Brown, 26, and Lorenzo Montez Bush, 30, both of Lexington, were arrested after allegedly physically assaulting and robbing a female victim around 12:30 a.m. on Dec. 7.

Brown was charged with common law robbery, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, obtaining property by false pretense and first degree kidnapping. Bush was charged with common law robbery, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, aiding and abetting and first degree kidnapping.

Brown was placed under a $250,000 bond and Bush was placed under a $500,000 bond.

Both men are scheduled to appear in court Jan. 6, 2014.
