Suspects sought in Thomasville armed robbery

THOMASVILLE, N.C. — Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred shortly after 5 p.m. on Fife Street.

The victim, G.V. Aguirre, stated to police that he was exiting from his vehicle in front of the residence when he noticed a silver or gold four-door passenger vehicle drive up behind him.

Aguirre stated two black males exited the four-door vehicle and the vehicle left traveling south on Cox Avenue.

The two men approached Aguirre, brandished a firearm and demanded money.

The two suspects fled on foot south on Cox Avenue with an undisclosed amount of money.

One suspect is described as being a black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, and wearing dark pants. The second suspect is described as black male wearing a red T-shirt with dark jeans, short with a medium build.

Both suspects were described as being 16 to 18 years old.
