Man injured in Lexington shooting on Tuesday

LEXINGTON, N.C. — A 23-year-old man suffered two gunshot wounds after a shooting near Walltown Street on Tuesday evening, according to the Lexington Dispatch.

Officers responded to the 100 block of Walltown Street around 8 p.m. An official told the paper the victim was transported by EMS to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

The victim has not been identified.

No other information was provided.

    I wonder if Fox8 bothered to ask any questions? It seems the only thing they go into any depth about is the weather.

    Was this a home invasion, a shoot and loot, what? Come on Fox8 ask some questions, push a bit, try to find a few investigative reporters to hire. While you are at it you may want to find some proof readers.

      Considering the area, no telling. Thats basically right across the street from the WalMart/Lowes center. Slum housing.. not so great neighbors…altho, it could have happened in the High Rock Church parking lot…
